Born from a desire to challenge. For the love of the beach lifestyle. For the pleasures in bright colours and shapes that are intriguing. And the idea that they can mean something for the wearer.

KAANDA Beach Life has been based in the tropical island paradise of Phuket since 2010.

The meaning of the word KAANDA in many different languages in Asia are inspiring to us, in Thai for example it means "beloved" or "the woman that I love". In different Indian languages it is associated with soulful and strong meanings like "Godess", "Protector of Mankind" or even "Sixth Sense".

My hidden Gem is our 2020 collection, inspired by the secret and secluded hidden places that we sometimes find by surprise when travelling, and they takes us to the awe moments of our life. We don't always know why we connect with a special place, it can be the beauty, or the serenity, it can be the wild or the majestic, or the company that we keep when where are there. We just know.

The Song of the Sea is the collection for 2019.

Song of the Sea is inspired by the musical sounds and alluring calling we feel when close to an ocean or big water. Also the inspired Demi Goddesses we know from Greek Mythology, half human and half Goddess.

We feel more connected and in balance, as well as empowered by nature, so we created this new collection to enhance that feeling. Lots of earthy animal prints, like tiger stripes and snake prints, deep jungle green and clay coloured pieces of jewels. Of course, we cannot deny our tropical beat, so there is the classic floral prints and coral, mint and deep fuchsia to match your best holiday suntan.

2018 The Castaway Collection, came from the idea of feeling like one with the elements while passing away your favourite time on the beach or poolside. The brand new collection boasts a large variety of the KAANDA signature tropical and animal prints as well as ethnic and strong colours.

If you choose to be true to yourself and living by your values, in turn it creates a feeling of empowerment. Empowerment is about realness, honesty and being present. It is this very nature of empowerment that inspires KAANDA beach life the most.

Lovers of sustainable ideas KAANDA has made the whole collection in the highest quality of soft microfibre which is five times more resistant to chlorine, salt and sun than a normal lycra. Wear your KAANDA for a long time....!

Our symbol, the Buddhist Love Knot, stands for good karma and eternal energy. This symbol and our swimwear is our tribute to the sensitivity and spirituality of all women in the world.

KAANDA is sold all over the world, you can contact us for distributors in your territory. Currently we are available in the North Americas, Italy, Scandinavia, Vietnam, Mauritius, Kazakstan, Russia, Maldives and Thailand.

As Thailand is our home market you will find us in many of the best department stores in the Kingdom, including ZEN Centralworld and Supersport, Central Festival in both Phuket and Pattaya. We are also in Robinson in Jungceylon, and we also have seven KAANDA beach life boutiques in Surin, Kata, Boat Avenue (next to Villa Market, entrance of Laguna, Phuket) Catch beach club, Twin Palms Montazur, Intercontinental Resort Kamala, and Canal Village (Laguna). We also operate an outlet in our office in Laguna.

We also work with many of the well known five star hotels like Andara, Anantara, The Surin, Ritz Carlton reserve, W, Conrad and SALA.
